First of all, happy 20th birthday to bestie Quil :) You're finally the same age as the rest of us!
Today made me think of a few things. Things don't just happen to other people. Like you see the news and go, "Oh, there's a flood." And you just see it from a third-person point of view, or aren't really concerned, because - what are the chances of it happening to you or someone close to you?
Until it actually does.
The older we get, the more responsibilities we assume. It moves from just doing homework that you're asked to do, to stuff like being the breadwinner for your family. And as i've previously mentioned before, it seems like age is directly proportionate to our perspective of fragility of life. Things can happen so suddenly you don't even know how it happened.
To quote the birthday boy - 'Life like this'.
Love you bros. And to the one who's missing from this picture, we miss you!

GAH.
It never rains, it pours. Or maybe storms.
Oh for goodness' sake. Can't life throw me some staggered stuff rather than give me a whole pile at a time? It's like i can be so free for days, and all of a sudden when i'm preparing to register for courses for school [which requires a lot of reading, i regret not to have done this beforehand], i also have to plan for christmas gatherings, birthday gatherings, other kinds of gatherings, conduct random chitchat, counselling, and CCA.
HALLO I NEED TO BREATHE PL0X.

21.
So i was thinking of doing a half-marathon for my birthday next year.
My reason to run: 21km for my 21st birthday.
Too bad they're not gonna provide the Adidas reason to run thing again [i think]. I'm thinking that since SBR/AHM is usually in August, then... yeah. Just nice ah.
And then maybe i'll try Stanchart at the end of the year. Or maybe the following year. Or maybe not at all. See how i keep up first lor.
Time to get up offa that computer chair and get those running shoes back out.

Some things about me
That you don't have to remember, but it would be good to.
1. My left eye tears. Don't ask why, it just does. Sometimes it can be to the extent that i only realise that i'm tearing after the tear rolls down my face. So if you see me crying for no particular reason, i'm probably not. And yes, my eyes are yellow, deal with it. I've also heard enough about it being signs that i'm unhealthy, so i don't need more reminders, thank you.
2. I don't eat vegetables. I used to eat long beans in omelette, but after i threw up in bed with all the bits of it, i never ate it anymore. However, i do eat mushrooms, potatoes, and seaweed. Not that any of them strictly qualify as vegetables. Yes, i am aware that they're my favourite colour, so?
3. I have no fingernails, but i still manage to scratch myself raw when i get insect bites and stuff. That's why i have all those scars all over me. Sometimes i can even scratch myself while i'm sleeping, by rubbing against the sheets. Having all these sores don't mean i'm dirty or anything; i shower at least once a day. It's just that when i have any bites, i scratch them and when they heal, they itch, so i scratch the surrounding area since i can't scratch the scab. And the cycle just goes on, and it spreads.
[I probably should go see a doctor, it seems like my health's in jeopardy after the accumulation of all of the above for years -.-]
4. I have 9 dresses and 7 skirts, and i do wear them whenever i get the chance. Which leads me to wonder why some people think i'm guyish. Fair enough, i did use to be [didn't wear a single skirt/dress in poly except once, which was a formal one and i was forced to]. Also, i dress functionally, so i'll only be wearing dresses/skirts when i'm sure i don't need to be doing any vigorous activity.
5. I whine. A lot. Mostly to my boyfriend.
Yes. I hope that reduces all the repetitive questions about me, so the next time someone asks about all these silly things i'll refer them here.

Expenses
Sony Ericsson C905 - $600
Cash outflow expected within this month/January
Hong Kong trip - $900
Cash outflow expected middle of next year
Bintan trip - $300 [not confirmed]
Cash outflow expected some time next year
Hi, i'm a first-year Accountancy undergraduate from Nanyang Business School. Anyone wants to hire me?
Yes, i'm doing the HK thing because i'm envious of Sam & Dine's pictures. I didn't join them for Taiwan because i had made plans before that, and my plans eventually turned out to be a flop, so GRARRGH.
Just some considerations.
- Disneyland or shopping? I'm so tempted to try staying in the Disneyland hotel, but i'm sure it's going to be a lot more expensive and it'll be quite inaccessible to the city area, as compared to a hotel which is near Tsim Sha Shui/Mong Kok.
- Sightseeing or playing? I'm not really interested in going to see all the attractions, but i'm sure KS would want to. Shopping and Disneyland are a must, so we'll have to balance between those.
- Guided tour or F&E? I'd much prefer the flexibility of a F&E tour, but that might mean that there's a possibility of missing out nice stuff if i don't do the adequate research.
- SIA/Cathay or budget airlines? Safety/comfort or money?
- When to go, and for how many days? Need to find a common time where we're both on holiday, most likely to be around July. I'm thinking 4D3N, because 3D2N seems a little short [the middle day will definitely be spent in Disneyland, the rest will probably be shopping or something, which means not much time for sightseeing]. This will also depend on all the above factors.
I can't wait to go on holiday :)
