Immense entertainment value.

A woman's take on the 'smelly green things' we know as NSFs.

Reflections.

Yunning and I were mentioning after House one day, that we saw what we used to be like, in somebody else. [Annoying lol.]

I just saw my 19-year-old self reflected in someone else. Those days where my heart would skip a beat while i took the stairs two at a time, heading up to the second floor in Keck Seng. The joy at dancing together, and receiving positive feedback. The excitement at meeting people and making friends. The fun we all had, as well as some... other things.

:)

I remember posting something in Multiply about enjoying this phase while it lasted. I'm glad i pretty much did. It wasn't super fantastic, but i liked the way it was.

You know you've reached the end when you're looking back at it.

Like i said before, i've never really been on the same wavelength as those passionate dancers, since dance has always been just a hobby/interest to me. A lot of my dancer friends don't understand how this works for me, but that's okay. Thank you for sharing this experience with me :)

Of course, it's not really the end. I'm still dancing, albeit at a much lower frequency than before. Just let me take dance as what i had intended it to be, just a chapter in my book of life experiences :)

JSI Gathering

Where we had our dinner :)

What we had for dinner :) [I'm kidding - that's the picture on the menu]

Our dessert :) [Kidding again - this was at the Taka Food Fest. We could only look because we were too full]

And the 4 out of 9 who turned up :)

Unidentifiable Feeling Overall (UFO)

I was doing my planning for my Taiwan trip, and it struck me how close it was to the trip. I had started my research and planning months ago, during my exam period, but after my exams the research didn't seem so interesting anymore.

I had Chinese pop songs playing - those from the years that i was a mad fangirl - and chanced upon a nice blog with many pictures from the blog owner's Taiwan trip like two years ago.

Looking through the pictures and listening to the music gave me this indescribable feeling [ah there's the word from my AA102 group]. Something like a mix between anticipation and excitement about the upcoming trip, yet nostalgia about the idol-chasing days, with some element of desire and sadness. I really don't know. It's bittersweet.

And it's almost 2am. That probably also contributed to the weird feelings.

More dilemma.

Ever loved and hated a person so much at the same time?

So much so that you wanted to kill yourself - because you love the person so much you'd die for them, yet you're the one who hates them so much you wish they were dead?

Watch for ice.

Stuff.

"Today, I decided to get back into shape and go for a run. With a 1/4 mile left to run, I saw a hot chick a block ahead of me running. Trying to show off I ran hard and passed her stopping just outside my complex. I started to throw up right as she came past me because I had run so hard to pass her. FML"

Sounds just like KS/Quil.

I'm thinking of getting a new MP3 player but i don't know which to get. Suggestions?

Dilemma, dilemma.

What would you do?

1.
You are sitting on a train. A rather plump lady walks in. You aren't sure whether she's pregnant or just on the plump side. Would you:
a) Give up your seat to her. If she's not pregnant, she may not sit down. In fact, she may get upset with you for thinking that she looks big enough to be pregnant.
b) Pretend to be asleep. Feel guilty the entire trip. But at least you save yourself some embarrassment if she's not pregnant.

2.
You are sitting on a train. A disabled man walks in - not on crutches or anything, just something that is obviously [to put it very nicely] different. Would you:
a) Give up your seat to him. He may sit, or he may take it offensively, like you think he's handicapped and can't even stand or something.
b) Hold your Straits Times in front of you and hide yourself from anyone who comes in.

3.
You are on a bus. Someone gets up from the reserved seats, and you are standing right in front of the now-vacated seat. The bus is crowded, and people are still trying to squeeze on the bus. Would you:
a) Just sit, and make space for the people who want to board.
b) Continue standing. The seat isn't meant for you.

Don't think too much into it. Just pick one of the options. I'd like to know what they are.

I wanted to post something.

But i can't remember what it was.
