So this holiday,
I did many things. One of the few times I wasn't just rotting at home playing games like I usually would have. Since it's coming to an end now, i'll just look back and sum up all of the things that happened.
- First Fruits+boyfriends gathering at Ruby's.
- Holidayed in Bangkok and got like a year's supply of clothes.
- Also got a few contacts for supply of whatevers :)
- Fell sick. Lol.
- Watched shows and movies.
- More specifically, Hana Yori Dango 1 & 2, and Modern Family.
- And Tron, Confessions, Singing In The Rain, Juno, Inglourious Basterds, How To Train Your Dragon, and Burlesque.
- Played Dungeon Hunter 2.
- Light painting with lightsticks.
- Flourished. Quite a bit.
- Queued for bubble tea. Tons and tons of times.
- Wrote a letter to the future.
- Prepared J's birthday present :D
- Juste Debout.
And of course there were other times where we just went out and walked around. Practically spent every single moment with J. I'll miss this holiday now that school's starting and because it's the last holiday i'll ever have, but oh well. I'm glad it happened and that I made full use of it :)

- Bridesmaid for Dorena's wedding.
- Boat ride and Lazarus Island with family and J. Cool shit.
- Sneaked into Bukit Timah railway on a rainy day and took a video for J there.
- Clubbed and didn't hate it.

Ownership.
It's the first time in a very long time that I feel as though i'm doing more work than my other group members. That i'm leading the group. That I know the most within the group. Even though maybe i'm not.
It feels nice.
It feels familiar.
I'm the kind of person who needs to be given ownership/leadership of something in order for me to do it well.

Unproductive Sunday, mostly.
Had lunch with paternal aunts whom I haven't seen in a while. They updated me about my dad and told me to spend some time with him now that he's back for like a week.
Anyway. Baby came over for dinner :) And he brought char siew lol thanks Baby. Before dinner we were so bored that we went to the extent of playing Neopets games. Then my brother came back and suggested LF2 and AuSEA, both of which I downloaded and am probably gonna remove like tomorrow or something.
Jbro and Jboyfriend don't get mixed up when I call them anymore. Now it's when my mom or Aunty Jo calls, "Justin!" and it's always the wrong one that responds. It still amuses me a little.
Went out for a walk with the boys, then came back to our void deck and sat there and talked with Jbro's friend/our neighbour. Jboyfriend and I laughed until we couldn't laugh anymore and could only sit there smiling weakly.
Reduced my Sunday blues much :) Thanks boys.
Soul Funky to look forward to tomorrow!

Seems i'm only free on Tuesdays.
Yeah I miss the holidays. Can't imagine what it'll be like after I graduate and have to find a job.
Strangely enough, I never felt this way before. Then again it's not that strange; non-school/work life was never this fun before I met J.
Had a nice relaxing day together, having lunch with his mom, then walking around near his place in shorts and slippers, and watching WLiiA at home. It's nice to be able to spend such stressless time together even though school's started. Probably won't be able to do all this when the workload becomes heavier.
Okay. Time to start homework. Gotta buck up this sem.
Will not start bitching about the elective system until i'm really left with no elective.

Simplicity.
Woke up early in the morning to go for dance prac. Then HTHT-ed with the three of them over lunch in town.
Headed back to Baby's, had a nap, dinner, watched a movie, and then sat there and chatted about random nonsense.
It's a happy day :)

Yay!
First roll of Holga pictures are out! :D Only have them in hardcopy though. They turned out a lot better than we expected. Maybe next round we'll get them in a CD.
Another roll loaded and ready to go :) And I already know that the first picture's going to be my favourite.
Oh yeah I finally got my timetable. Screwed just like I expected it to be. But ah well. As long as J's in school as well things will be fine (:
Partay time tomorrow in the office!

:)
I thought I had a lot of things to tweet about. Then I sat there for some time, thinking of what to type. I ended up with just a smiley.
Thought maybe it was because 160 characters wasn't enough. So I tried to blog instead. In the end, I still don't know what to write. It's not that I have nothing to write about. I just really don't know how to put it in words.
Thank you baby.

What a wonderful world.
It's great to be able to actually have time.
One of my favourite things to do is to wake up in the morning and look out my kitchen window when it's wide open. I'll just stand there for a while admiring the sea view, the sun shining, and the cool breeze blowing. It's almost like standing at the beach.
I've lived near the sea all my life. I could see Sentosa from my old house, and when we moved to the Bayshore for a while, it was next to East Coast. And now, of course, Pasir Ris Park.
My brother and I are children of theSze Sea :)

:D
The night before, after dinner with his family, KS randomly suggested that we should go to Pulau Ubin.
So the next morning we found ourselves on the boat, on the way there.
Went to Chek Jawa as usual. Had to take a longer route because the usual one was blocked up. Then we explored the rest of the island, which we don't usually do. By the end of the whole thing, we were both freaking exhausted.
Came back, showered, napped.
Did nothing else. Oh, I mapled.
Good Sunday.

Sorry for the lack of updates.
The photo editing for my Taiwan trip has been a bitch, what with an extremely slow computer that takes like a minute to simply rotate, resize, and save each picture [and i have several hundred pictures].
My trip was really nothing out of the ordinary. Probably because of all the research i've done and all the pictures i've seen from the people who were there just a few weeks before i went, the trip was pretty much what i had already foreseen it to be. I had come up with an itinerary, but we ended up not following it. By the fourth day we had pretty much run out of things to do, and with the rain, we didn't really go anywhere else.
I did lots of shopping and we spent our last dollar [at least what we thought was the last dollar; the boyfriend found a NTD 50 coin in one of his pants pockets when he was doing his laundry after we came home].
We received nothing short of the hospitality we were promised. The people were lovely, the lifestyle was laid back, which i love, and the trip on the whole was great.
Anyway. A few days ago i found out about Fmylife.com's affiliated sites - Mylifeisaverage and Mylifeisg. While FML and MLIA are funny, MLIG has made me tear from the stories on the site. Call me emotional or whatever, but the site has restored my faith in humanity [more Singaporeans need to read that site].
So, just a lil story of mine. When we were at Taiwan, they had this government-initiated thing that allowed purchase receipts to be used like vouchers, in place of cash. So outside 7-Eleven and some other convenience stores at Xi Men Ding, there were elderly people standing outside, hoping for shoppers to donate their receipts. KS and i were in the habit of keeping our receipts so we could keep track of our expenses, so by the last day we had collected quite a number of receipts. We walked past one of the convenience stores and there was this old lady sitting outside with a box, collecting receipts and other donations.
She didn't notice both of us because we had just walked past, but when i took the stack of receipts and placed them in her box, she looked up at me and i could really feel her gratitude when she said, "谢谢 ..." in her grandmotherly voice.
Just a simple gesture that left me feeling good all day :) KS didn't even want to bother donating any of the receipts; he'd rather throw them away. But before i call him heartless, he's also had his share of being nice. When he went to buy Macs lunch for me one rainy afternoon, he offered to send an old lady to the MRT station under his umbrella. What made me really glad was that he was the one who offered, and not the lady who asked him for help :)
MLIG :)
Here's a cute and sweet video i came across on Cute Overload the other day. Not recommended for diabetics.

Reflections.
Yunning and I were mentioning after House one day, that we saw what we used to be like, in somebody else. [Annoying lol.]
I just saw my 19-year-old self reflected in someone else. Those days where my heart would skip a beat while i took the stairs two at a time, heading up to the second floor in Keck Seng. The joy at dancing together, and receiving positive feedback. The excitement at meeting people and making friends. The fun we all had, as well as some... other things.
:)
I remember posting something in Multiply about enjoying this phase while it lasted. I'm glad i pretty much did. It wasn't super fantastic, but i liked the way it was.
You know you've reached the end when you're looking back at it.
Like i said before, i've never really been on the same wavelength as those passionate dancers, since dance has always been just a hobby/interest to me. A lot of my dancer friends don't understand how this works for me, but that's okay. Thank you for sharing this experience with me :)
Of course, it's not really the end. I'm still dancing, albeit at a much lower frequency than before. Just let me take dance as what i had intended it to be, just a chapter in my book of life experiences :)

I want a...
Yes i'm back to the 'I wanna get married' and 'I want a baby' stage. Unfortunately now it's both at the same time.
Pretty much thanks to F.R.I.E.N.D.S, of course. I just finished the episode where Rachel has her baby girl and now i want a baby. Again. But that's gonna be at least 5 years later :( Or 6, since i'm getting married in 5 ._.
-
I was listening to my House music at work just now, and for some reason i really badly wanted to do iWander again. You know, just spend a day and wander around Singapore alone, with music plugged in my ears, watching people rush through their busy lives while i take a slow stroll and enjoy the peace.
I can't wait to stop work, so i can do all that. I'm already thinking of all the places i want to go, and i'll come up with a route to take. Maybe i'll leave home early in the morning and see the sunrise at East Coast. That'll be nice.
I love my life, i love my friends, i love my family. It's great.

Busy, busy days.
I can always think of better things to do when i'm all caught up with work/exams. Probably one of the very few times i actually didn't was during the crazy 3 months of training with Soul Funky earlier this year, where i was right where i wanted to be :)
So i haven't exactly been sticking to my routine of regular exercise, but that's because i've been having so many things on. On Monday i met up with my poly friends for dinner, and this must've been the shortest dinner we've ever had. We just had dinner and left. Welp, that's working life.
Yesterday i was at the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen gala premiere at Vivo. I haven't even watched the first movie. But anyway, i guess it was pretty good. Better than i had expected it to be, anyway. Kind of draggy, though.
So finally i got to watch F.R.I.E.N.D.S today. I managed to finish the remaining half of season 7, and i can't wait to watch the rest. Chandler is so charming :) Oh, and i had a dream the other day about being one of the friends o_o
Tomorrow i'm going running. Ah, life's great.

:DD
I had Sushi Tei for dinner with KS just now :) Here's what we had.
We ordered the Lobster Mentaiyaki and Salmon Mentaiyaki to share. They gave us a choice on the size. We took the smallest one, which was $34 and more than enough. Sorry, no other pictures of food after that because i was busy doing this:
And that wasn't even half the lobster!
It felt great being in town on a weekday after work. We were both in our working attire and walking in - or rather walking out of - Ngee Ann City, and passing by those extremely high-end stores. It made me feel rich. Feel only.
Wonder if it'll be like that next time when we're both really working :)
Hotate Teriyaki for appetizers.

Loving life.
KS has been spending the past two days teaching me Stats. Thanks Boy :)
Today was great. KS came over around lunch time, then taught me some Stats stuff. We took a nap, then went for dinner at White Sands. KFC. Then we walked around in the supermarket. It was nothing fantastic, yet i just felt really happy.
Simplicity of happiness :)
I love my friends. It's just really nice to know my old friends are always there, especially when i'm feeling lonely at NTU. I mean, sure i have friends there, but hardly any i can really hang out with.
Thanks for the SMSes - Yuxiu and Samantha
Thanks for the Facebook posts - Geraldine and Ruby
Thanks for spending time studying with me - Sharon and Yvonne
Thanks for random MSN crap - Quil
Thanks for the long phone call - Benedict

My window.
Today i skipped lectures again. But that's not the main point.
I woke up late and looked out of my window. And the sun was shining brightly. And i thought to myself, "Wouldn't it be wonderful to be a fisherman and live on a kelong?"

97 Unread Emails.
The perils of having two big events back-to-back.
It all happened between 9pm on Monday night and 11.30am on Tuesday morning. That was the whole period i wasn't online. And i was bombarded with Open House and JDC photo tags and comments from Facebook, and not to mention emails from *heart* Soul Funky peeps *heart*.
Past two days have been good. A little empty now that i'm not seeing my *heart* Soul Funky peeps *heart* everyday, but i have more time for other stuff now.
Like sleeping. It's as if i've been trying to catch up on all the sleep that i've lost over the past 3 months. I sleep so much and still feel tired. Guess it's the recovery :)
Back to schoolwork. Jiayou!

Today.
Today, i woke up next to Chan Kwang Siong. He stayed to keep me company while i was supposed to be studying all night for my quiz.
I went to school to take my quiz. Then i went home alone. I fell asleep on the train at Boon Lay, and didn't wake up until Simei. I took a slow stroll around White Sands, with nothing much in mind. Then i bought lunch, and i walked home in the rain.
And i was happy :)
